December 5-MHCC Book Group Meeting at St. Francis parish hall 6:30-8PM.
December 6 & 7-No First Friday and First Saturday this month.
December 9-Immaculate Conception-Holy Day of Obligation: Mass Schedule: 8:00AM at St. Dominic and 4:00PM at St. Francis of Assisi.
December 10-Scripture Study Group Meeting from noon-1:30PM at St. Francis in the parish hall.
December 10-Swansea Community Band will have it's Christmas Concert at St. Francis of Assisi at 7:00PM.
December 12-MHCC Book Group Meeting at St. Francis parish hall 6:30-8PM.
December 14-Breakfast with Santa at St. Dominic's from10am to 12 noon in the Parish Center. Registrations form at the doors at both churches. For Children Gr. 1-4.
December 17-Scripture Study Group Meeting from noon-1:30PM at St. Franci in the parish hall.
December18-St. Dominic's Women's Guild 6PM Rosary following the meeting at 6:30PM. All who are interested are invited to attend.
December 19-MHCC Book Group Meeting at St. Francis parish hall 6:30-8PM.
December 21 & 22-Family Liturgy at 4:00PM at St. Francis of Assisi and at 9:30AM at St. Dominic.
December 24-No Scripture Study Group Meeting this week.
Christmas Mass Schedule: Christmas Eve, December 24 at St. Francis of Assisi at 4:00PM. Christmas Day: 9:30AM at St. Dominic's and 11:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi.
December 26-No MHCC Book Group Meeting this week.
December 31-No Scripture Study Group Meeting this week.
January 11, 2025-Paint & Sip at St. Francis parish hall 1:30PM. 20 seats available, first come first serve.
February 8, 2025-St. Francis Family Life Ministry will be holding a Meatball & Pasta Dinner at 5:30PM in the parish hall. More information coming soon.
March 15, 2025-St. Francis Family Life Ministry will be holding their annual Corned Beef Dinner at 5:30PM in the parish hall. More information coming soon.

A WARM WELCOME TO OUR NEW PASTOR:
We are pleased to introduce Father ThomaCostata to the Mt. Hope Catholic Community.
Father Tom grew up in nearbSeekonknk and lategradutateded from University of Hartford. After a career in business, he entered priestly formation and completed his Theological studies at Pope John the XXIII Seminary in Weston, MA. He was ordained on July 9, 2005. He served as Pastor of Annunciation of the Lord from 2012 to 2019 and has had assignments as Chaplain of BishoFeehanan High School as well aSOurur Lady of Lourdes School. Along with experience in Family Ministry, he also brings with him experience ministering as a Hospital Chaplain at Cape Cod Hospital. He arrives from thTauntonon Catholic North collaborative, where he served as Co-Pastor of St. Jude The Apostle, St. Anthony's, and St. Mary's since 2019.
He looks forward to meeting parishioners and getting to know the life of our parishes more closely. As he settles into his new role as Pastor, FatheCostata would like you to know that he will be praying for all of us. He asks that you in turn pray that the Holy Spirit guides his arrival so that this community continues to grow in the faith, hope and love of Jesus Christ.
Our parish community welcomes Fr. Tom, and we pray that the Holy Spirit will guide him and bless his time here with us.
